Review-ish time!
If you are a regular reader of the blogs then you will know I tend to miss the kick off shows and this one was no exception, it's a shame that the creative team have no idea of how to book the people involved in that eight man tag match correctly.

John Morrison cashed in for The Miz during the TLC match between Drew and AJ to make it a triple threat, he was unsuccessful and he always going to be because of who the current main champions are. in regards to who is next to face Drew? all signs point to Sheamus at the Royal Rumble, subject to change of course.

Sasha remained champion after defeating Carmella, the challenger put up a good fight but was unable to prevail victorious, I hope this feud is now over so they can move on to other opponents, in terms of who is next for Sasha? I would say Bayley at the Rumble to finally end that story, whereas Carmella could probably have a couple of matches with the EST of WWE Bianca Belair.

Cedric and Shelton won the tag team titles in what was a damn good match, it became obvious that titles were going to change hands because of the Hurt Business having issues with Riddle lately, who has recently begun teaming up with Jeff Hardy. In regards to Xavier and Kofi? There were plans for Xavier to become Kofi's manager in singles competition which could begin on RAW tonight.

Charlotte, as predicted by many, returned to WWE TV to team up with Asuka and got some revenge on Nia Jax from earlier this year by winning the Women's Tag Team Championships. They'll probably book Charlotte vs, Nia on the next episode of RAW for a one and done match.

Reigns vs. Owens was 100% the match of the night, brilliant from start to finish, there were times during the match where I thought Owens was going to win but Jey Uso made sure it wasn't going to happen. I think there will be one match between these two, probably on the Christmas episode of SmackDown.

The main event was the FireFly Inferno Match between Randy Orton and "The Fiend" the match looked like it was taped prior to the show so technically it was a cinematch. Orton won by setting his opponent on fire, it looked like it was a stunt double of Wyatt, who then went in to the ring and was RKO'd by Randy, who then set a dummy looking version of "The Fiend" on fire, which was a cool visual to end the show.

So there you have it, the review-ish is now in the archives, TLC was a pretty decent event to watch despite the poor build up, if I were to rate this event, it would be a 6/10. The event calendar for 2020 is now complete, The Royal Rumble will take place in the new year on January 31st, the predictions will be available a day or so before. Until then, be well, stay safe, have a great Christmas and New Year and I'll see you in 2021!

WWE TLC 2020 | Predictions

Tables, Ladders and Chairs will take place LIVE this Sunday from The ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, Florida. Below is the current match card, I have written the predictions blog hours before the SmackDown go home show, so there may be more matches added to the line up.

Match Card
RAW Tag Team Championship Match
The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) (c) vs.

The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin)
The rivalry between the two teams has run its course, the matches prior to this one have been very entertaining to watch, however, it's time for these guys to move on to new opposition, I see the tag team championships change hands here. Predicted Winners: and NEW Tag Team Champions. The Hurt Business.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella
Ever since Carmella returned to SmackDown with a new gimmick, she has targeted Sasha Banks, there was a throwaway match on the last episode which ended in a DQ finish, as I'm writing this, I'm thinking the challenger is just a place holder ahead of "The Boss" next storyline/opponent. Predicted Winner: and still SmackDown Women's Champion. Sasha Banks.

TLC Match for the Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Roman is the best heel in all of wrestling right now, he has taken his character to the next level, I would say it is even better than when he was part of The Shield. Kevin has been excellent as a face, however, he is a natural heel, let's talk about this here match, the story began in the lead up to Survivor Series when Jey and KO were feuding, which has transferred to this one, on Sunday, I expect to see Jimmy Uso return and join Jey to complete the tribe whilst costing Kevin the match. Predicted Winner: and still Universal Champion. Roman Reigns.

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Asuka & ?
Nia and Shayna have made a pretty decent team, which is why they're tag team champions, they achieved the goal of taking Lana out of Sunday's match. in regards to who may team up with Asuka? I predict it will be Charlotte, who hasn't been seen on WWE TV since she was attacked by Jax a few months ago. Predicted Winners: and NEW Women's Tag Team Champions. Asuka & Charlotte.

Firefly Inferno Match
"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton
Wyatt & Orton have been feuding on and off for a while, this is the latest chapter. WWE announced the stipulation on social media, if this was a normal match then the interest wouldn't be there at all, however, with the Firefly Inferno stipulation, this changes the whole complexion of the match, this is probably going to be a cine-match. Alexa has been noticeably absent in recent weeks, she may make an appearance to distract Orton and help Wyatt win. Predicted Winner: "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt.

TLC Match for the WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. AJ Styles
This is a SummerSlam/WrestleMania calibre match up, it's a shame it's taking place before a virtual crowd, instead of people actually in attendance, expect to see plenty of shenanigans from AJ trying to get the advantage by involving his bodyguard, Omos. I would love to see AJ stand on the shoulders of Omos and attempt to grab the championship instead of using the ladder. Mr, Money in the Bank The Miz will no doubt be watching this match backstage with interest and seek any opening to cash in, I predict his efforts with be dashed by Keith Lee who will seek to get some revenge from Monday Night on RAW. Drew faces a lot of obstacles here but he will overcome them. Predicted Winner: and still WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre.

That is it for the predictions, the build up for the event has been poor but it may very well be an entertaining watch. Thanks for reading.
