WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 | An AWESOME Review-ish

Elimination Chamber was LIVE from the Tropicana Field in St Petersburg also known as the WWE ThunderDome. Keith Lee was originally scheduled to compete for the United States Championship, but he was removed from the match, because of a reported injury and so a fatal four way was scheduled for the kick off show, where John Morrison defeated Mustafa Ali, Elias and Ricochet.

Main Card Results
Daniel Bryan won the Elimination Chamber match for an opportunity for the Universal Championship.

Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan to remain Universal Champion.

Riddle won the United States Championship in a triple threat match against John Morrison and Bobby Lashley.

Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler successfully defended the Women's Tag Team Championships against Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair.

Drew McIntyre won the Elimination Chamber match to remain the WWE Champion.

Chamber Review-ish
Daniel Bryan won the Elimination Chamber match and went on to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. Roman did the smart thing by not giving Bryan any opportunity to get to one hundred percent. It looks certain that Edge will challenge Roman for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania after spearing the champion.

Riddle is the new United States Champion, congratulations to him on that achievement, he pinned John Morrison for the victory, it was interesting to see that Lashley wasn't involved in the pin fall and this wasn't the last we saw of him at this event. More about that later in the review-ish.

The Women's Tag Team Championship match went exactly as predicted, Reginald inadvertently cost Sasha and Bianca the match, resulting in Nia pinning "The Boss" for the win, Sasha and Bianca are sure to meet at WrestleMania for the SmackDown Women's Championship and in regards to Nia and Shayna, I see them dropping the titles to Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez from NXT. It's all subject to change of course.

Drew McIntyre remained the WWE Champion, after winning in the Chamber, lastly pinning AJ Styles for the win, really enjoyed watching the contest, particularly Kofi eliminating Randy Orton, "The Viper" can't blame Bray and Alexa for that one. There was a sense that something was about to happen, because the Chamber was going up and the event was only two hours and twenty something in, which proved to be the case. Lashley attacked Drew, leading towards the Miz cashing in, also, it's worth noting that MVP was seen talking to Miz backstage during the event, Miz ran down to the ring while Drew was on the mat and he cashed successfully, hitting "The Skull Crushing Finale" for the win and the title.

Miz winning the WWE Title now makes Monday Night RAW tonight very interesting because of storyline progression. What will happen? We will have to tune in to find out! Thanks for reading.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 | Predictions

The Road to WrestleMania continues, the Elimination Chamber tomorrow night is the next stop, admittedly the build up has been hit and miss, five matches have been announced so far. Let's get to the predictions.

Match Card
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair
The following contest is going to be interesting for sure, we have four great competitors in one match, two of them (Nia and Shayna) have been terribly booked by creative for over a year. Respect to Nia and Shayna for making it work. in terms of what I think will happen at the Chamber? I believe that Reginald will get involved here and inadvertently cost Sasha and Bianca the match, leading to Sasha turning against Bianca or vice versa. Predicted Winners: and still Women's Tag Team Champions. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.

Elimination Chamber Match - Winner faces Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship
Jey Uso vs. Kevin Owens vs. Baron Corbin vs. Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan
Time to break this down like D-Generation-X by talking about each person in this match, beginning with Jey Uso. Jey has already had title opportunities and has lost so he will not win here. Kevin Owens is in the same situation as Jey. Corbin and Zayn are heels and so that rules them out unless WWE plan a "shock win" for one of the two I just mentioned, this leaves Bryan and Cesaro. after much consideration, Bryan winning here is perfect because then the story from the 2015 Royal Rumble can continue. Predicted Winner: Daniel Bryan.

Universal Championship Match
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan?
After much consideration, I predict this match will take place immediately after the Chamber match because Roman will not want to waste time and give Bryan an opportunity to recover. Bryan will give it his all here and attempt to win against the odds, he will ultimately fall short. Predicted Winner: and still Universal Champion. Roman Reigns.

United States Championship Match
Bobby Lashley (c)  vs. Riddle vs. Keith Lee

Bobby has been brilliant to watch lately, it seems as though he is in line for a mega match at WrestleMania. I believe he will be dominant against two strong challengers here and pick up the victory. There is nothing else for me to say here really to be honest with you. Predicted Winner: and still United States Champion. Bobby Lashley.

Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Kofi Kingston
Unlike Roman, Drew is defending his Championship in the Elimination Chamber. Let's break down the credentials of the five challengers involved. AJ is phenomenal as we know, he has been the champion in the past and doesn't really need to win the title here. likewise Jeff Hardy, in regards to Orton, we know he is involved in a story with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss, we know that Wyatt is going to make a return imminently and so it will make perfect sense for him (Bray) to make an appearance and cost Orton the chance for the title. I will talk about Kofi first instead of Sheamus because I feel that Mustafa Ali and RETRIBUTION will make a run in and cost Kofi the match because of past Chamber events, which was Ali unfortunately suffering an injury and Kofi taking his place (just in case you needed reminding)

I predict this match will go down to Drew vs. Sheamus, which probably should've been the match at this event to begin with, the face to face interaction between the two guys will be quality to watch, I want to see a war take place here for about 10-15 minutes before Drew hits the Claymore for the win. Predicted Winner: and still WWE Champion. Drew McIntyre.

That is it for predictions. The review-ish for the Elimination Chamber will be available Monday afternoon. Until then, thanks for reading.

NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day | Review-ish

NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day was certainly an historic event, one that will change the future of the black and gold brand.

Match Results
Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez defeated Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon to win the first ever Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Johnny Gargano defeated Kushida to remain the NXT North American Champion.

MSK defeated the Grizzled Young Veterans to win the Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Io Shirai defeated Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez to remain NXT Women's Champion.

Finn Balor defeated Pete Dunne to remain NXT Champion.

Vengeance Day Review-ish
The Women's Dusty Classic finals kicked off Vengeance Day and what a match it was, all four competitors were really on their A-Game. It was an evenly contested bout until Raquel proved to be the difference in regards to strength and power, history was made as she and Dakota won the first ever tournament and a future opportunity for the Women's Tag Team Championships. In regards to what is next for Shotzi and Ember? sign me up for a feud between them. The matches will no doubt be TakeOver quality, if not, then a tag team feud against opposition to be named later in this review-ish.

Johnny Gargano was on his way to the ring with Candice LaRae, Indi Hartwell & Austin Theory to face Kushida, but then Theory was taken out by a mystery person, which will probably revealed to be Dexter Lumis, that situation evened things out for this North American Championship match. Kushida was moments from winning but Gargano found "The Way" and hit the slingshot DDT for the 1,2,3 and remain your NXT North American Champion.

Congratulations are in order for MSK as they won the Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They now have an opportunity for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The Grizzled Young Veterans have now lost two Classic finals in a row. Whats next for GYV? time will tell.

Io Shirai is still the NXT Women's Champion after defeating Toni and Mercedes, who were great challengers for the champion here, the finish to the the match reminded me of "In Your House" which is where Io won the belt, staying with Toni and Mercedes for a second here, they would make a interesting team and go on to face, yes, you guessed correctly, Shotzi and Ember.

And here we are, at the main event. Finn Balor vs. Pete Dunne for the NXT Championship. It was physical match. There were some great nearly moments where I thought the title was going to change hands, eventually "The Prince" hit the 1916 to remain champion. Business really picked up after the match when Burch and Lorcan ran down to attack Balor and sent him back to the ring where Dunne was, the three guys were assaulting Balor and that is when the Undisputed Era ran down to make the save.

Kyle O'Reilly of the Undisputed Era helped his longtime rival Finn Balor, to his feet and said that Balor was a real champion. The U.E and the NXT Champion posed in the ring and when the show was about to go off air, Adam Cole kicked the champion in the face and down to the mat, and then, there was a shock to the system. Adam Cole then proceeded to kick O'Reilly and then walk away. What a way for TakeOver to end. I guarantee you saw never that happening. I definitely didn't.

And that's undisputed.

NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day | Predictions

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!! NXT has now taken over the blog!

Vengeance Day is this Sunday night. LIVE! from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. The match card is below and let's begin with the predictions, starting with the Women's Championship match.

Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women's Championship
Io Shirai (c) vs. Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Martinez
Ever since Mercedes returned to NXT after asking to be removed from the "RETRIBUTION" storyline, she has targeted Io, Toni targeted the champion after moving on from her feud with Ember Moon. I wouldn't be surprised if a new champion was crowned but I'll predict that there won't be. Predicted Winner: and still NXT Women's Champion. Io Shirai.

Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final
winners receive a future WWE Women's Tag Team Championship opportunity
Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez vs. Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart
Raquel has been a powerhouse in the ring, she should challenge for the Women's Championship soon, but first, I'd expect her and Dakota to win the Dusty Cup on Sunday and go on to face the Women's Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, although new champions could be crowned soon. Time will tell. Ember and Shotzi will put up a great fight but fall short unfortunately. Predicted Winners: Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez.

Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final
winners receive a future NXT Tag Team Championship opportunity
MSK vs. Grizzled Young Veterans
The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) were runners-up of the last Dusty Cup which was ultimately won by Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne. MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) will be looking to make an immediate impact by winning here, will they be successful? I don't think so.
Predicted Winners of the Dusty Cup: Grizzled Young Veterans.

NXT North American Championship Match
Johnny Gargano (c) vs. Kushida
Kushida has continued to get in "The Way" of Johnny Gargano as of late, The North American champion will look to get rid the challenge once and for all. I believe he will get the job done here, I'd expect Dexter Lumis and Austin Theory to cause some shenanigans during this match also. Predicted Winner: and still. NXT North American Champion. Johnny Gargano.

NXT Championship Match

Finn Balor (c) vs. Pete Dunne
For the first time ever, Balor and Dunne will face each other for the Championship. It will no doubt, be a tough and physical match. It is a perfect main event for this TakeOver. Here's another prediction for you. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch's efforts to help Dunne will be thwarted by Undisputed Era resulting in "The Prince" picking up the win. Predicted Winner: and still. NXT Champion, Finn Balor.

So. There you have it. NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day predictions are now in the books, very much looking forward to the event, be sure to check back here on Monday for the Review-ish. Until then. Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.

Honest Royal Rumble Review-ish time!!!
The Women's Tag Team Championships changing hands from Charlotte & Asuka back to Nia & Shayna wasn't a surprise because Nia & Shayna are looking like a proper tag team rather than makeshift one if that makes sense. What next for Charlotte? it's obviously Lacey and Asuka facing Alexa in one of the pay-per-views leading to April.

Drew vs. Goldberg went as many expected, a quick match from start to finish. It was good to see the guys show respect to each after the match. Drew remaining champion is good but at the same time, I wouldn't have minded if Goldberg won the championship, because at the end of the day, no matter what people are saying on social media and other platfoms,  Goldberg is and always will be legend of the game.
Sasha successfully defended the SmackDown Women's Championship against Carmella at the Rumble, in terms of the feud, I'd expect it to end at Fastlane or before, time will tell.

Bianca Belair winning the Rumble was fantastic, great to see Rhea Ripley make, what was probably, her main roster debut and make it two the final two. Unless the creative team have different ideas, I'd expect to see Rhea go on to face Charlotte (as mentioned in the preview) and Bianca challenging Sasha, two great matches right there that we want to see.

The Last Man Standing match between Reigns & Owens delivered, it was the match of the night for me, you will think differently, they have great chemistry, the battle backstage was nice, no crowd made made it feel more dramatic when watching it on tv. I loved that Owens had that 'never give in mentality'
and the finish to the match where Reigns applied the submission hold leading to "The Tribal Chief" winning the match.

Main event was the Men's Royal Rumble, it was cool to see Carlito make an appearance, along with Hurricane & Christian, apart from those guys, there were not anymore surprises. Damian Priest was in the match, making his main roster debut, watch him start a feud with Baron Corbin. Seth Rollins returned from hiatus and made it towards the end of the match, let's see what they have in store for him, starting on SmackDown probably. Congratulations to Edge on winning the match and a title opportunity at WrestleMania, however, I have to be honest, the way people were celebrating to his win on social media platforms was over the the top, I thought the Royal Rumble was a way to put over superstars (for example Drew last year) instead of part timers.

That is it for the Royal Rumble Review-ish. ratings wise? 6 out of 10. I believe the next event is the Elimination Chamber, the predictions will be available 24 hours before the event itself. until then, thank you so much as always for reading.
