I thought this was a fun Rumble match, nice to see NXT talent get involved here in front of a huge crowd, I was impressed with Bianca Belair the most in this match even though she didn't win. She had a great perfomance. It's only a matter of time till she is on the Raw or SmackDown roster. Charlotte winning this match cements her legacy in WWE. She will 100% challenge Becky for 'Mania. I think.........

SmackDown Women's Championship Match - Bayley (c) defeated Lacey Evans
Who will challenge Bayley next? Surely they are going to book Bayley vs. Sasha for April...right? Sasha being the heel of course.

Universal Championship Match - "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (c) defeated Daniel Bryan (Strap match) Good match. Bryan put up a hell of a fight, he was never winning here. Let's move on.

Raw Women's Championship Match - Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka
As we all predicted going in to this, Becky was always going to get her win back from last years loss at this here event. Debt collected by "The Man"

  30. Seth Rollins
Winner - Drew McIntyre - Lastly eliminating Roman Reigns.
I said on the predictions that this is Drew's time to become champion. He deserves to be holding the title. Who will he challenge at 'Mania? It's got to Brock. After all he did eliminate the Beast en route to winning the Rumble. As far as the picture for the Universal title goes, I wouldn't be shocked to see a triple threat in April: Fiend vs. Bryan vs. Reigns. Lets see how things play out on TV. That's it for the review-ish. Thanks for reading.

WWE Royal Rumble 2020 | Predictions

Hi and welcome to the Royal Rumble predictions blog. The first pay-per-view of the year is fast approaching, It's also the pay-per-view debut broadcast for BT Sport here in the U.K. Lets get to the match predictions in no particular order. Here we go!

United States Championship Match - Andrade (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo
Predicted Winner: Andrade.

Sheamus vs. Shorty G
Predicted Winner: Sheamus.

Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin (Falls count anywhere match)
I have a sense this feud will (unfortunately) carry on to Elimination Chamber and end there. Predicted Winner: King Corbin.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match - Bayley (c) vs. Lacey Evans
I’m undecided as to who wins this match, I sense this will end in a disqualification after Sasha Banks gets involved. Predicted Winner: Lacey Evans (by disqualification)

Raw Women's Championship Match - Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka
Becky will get her “revenge” from the loss at last years Rumble event.
Winner: And still Raw Women’s Champion: Becky Lynch.

Universal Championship Match - "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Daniel Bryan (Strap match) Could we see a new champion here? Sure. I have a feeling the Universal Championship match at ‘Mania could be a triple threat match (more on that later down the line) in the meantime, this is my prediction. Predicted Winner: And still Universal Champion: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

For the two Rumble matches, I have chosen three potential winners each. Here we go!

Women's Royal Rumble Match
Pick 1: Ronda Rousey – She lost at WrestleMania last year and hasn’t been seen on on WWE TV since. This is a great time for her to return.

Pick 2: Shayna Baszler – Its time for her to be called up or called down to the main roster, depending on how you look at it. Shayna, like Ronda, has unfinished business with “The Man” after she was attacked during the closing stages at Survivor Series.

3rd and final pick: Nia Jax – Continuing the Becky Lynch theme here. Nia winning the rumble and challenging the current Raw Women’s champion would be great as it continues the story from when Nia accidentally broke Becky’s nose prior to 2018 Survivor Series. if you remember that far back. Also, the promos and match would be entertaining to watch that’s for damn sure.

All three women are strong candidates to win, very much looking forward to seeing what happens.

Men's Royal Rumble Match
Pick 1: Roman Reigns – Roman hasn’t been anywhere near the Universal title picture since he returned from illness. The journey to the top could begin with a win here, which I see happening to be honest.

Pick 2: Drew Mcintyre – If Roman doesn’t win then I hope Drew does. The guy has been pushed, then de-pushed and so on. Now is the time, starting with a big win here. He deserves to be holding the title right now. 100%!

3rd and final pick: Kofi Kingston – I picked Kofi because he is yet to have a rematch for the title, the way to set that up is to have him eliminate Brock in the match as part of a redemption story, the scenes would be incredible. The crowd would love it. There’s your WWE title match at WrestleMania right there.

As you may know, The Royal Rumble event is my favourite on the WWE calender. I will be watching to see what happens. Enjoy the show. I’ll be back with the review-ish during the midweek. We are now on the road to WrestleMania. Thanks for reading.
