Honest Royal Rumble Review-ish time!!!
The Women's Tag Team Championships changing hands from Charlotte & Asuka back to Nia & Shayna wasn't a surprise because Nia & Shayna are looking like a proper tag team rather than makeshift one if that makes sense. What next for Charlotte? it's obviously Lacey and Asuka facing Alexa in one of the pay-per-views leading to April.

Drew vs. Goldberg went as many expected, a quick match from start to finish. It was good to see the guys show respect to each after the match. Drew remaining champion is good but at the same time, I wouldn't have minded if Goldberg won the championship, because at the end of the day, no matter what people are saying on social media and other platfoms,  Goldberg is and always will be legend of the game.
Sasha successfully defended the SmackDown Women's Championship against Carmella at the Rumble, in terms of the feud, I'd expect it to end at Fastlane or before, time will tell.

Bianca Belair winning the Rumble was fantastic, great to see Rhea Ripley make, what was probably, her main roster debut and make it two the final two. Unless the creative team have different ideas, I'd expect to see Rhea go on to face Charlotte (as mentioned in the preview) and Bianca challenging Sasha, two great matches right there that we want to see.

The Last Man Standing match between Reigns & Owens delivered, it was the match of the night for me, you will think differently, they have great chemistry, the battle backstage was nice, no crowd made made it feel more dramatic when watching it on tv. I loved that Owens had that 'never give in mentality'
and the finish to the match where Reigns applied the submission hold leading to "The Tribal Chief" winning the match.

Main event was the Men's Royal Rumble, it was cool to see Carlito make an appearance, along with Hurricane & Christian, apart from those guys, there were not anymore surprises. Damian Priest was in the match, making his main roster debut, watch him start a feud with Baron Corbin. Seth Rollins returned from hiatus and made it towards the end of the match, let's see what they have in store for him, starting on SmackDown probably. Congratulations to Edge on winning the match and a title opportunity at WrestleMania, however, I have to be honest, the way people were celebrating to his win on social media platforms was over the the top, I thought the Royal Rumble was a way to put over superstars (for example Drew last year) instead of part timers.

That is it for the Royal Rumble Review-ish. ratings wise? 6 out of 10. I believe the next event is the Elimination Chamber, the predictions will be available 24 hours before the event itself. until then, thank you so much as always for reading.
