WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 | Review-ish

Welcome back to the blog, the Premium Live Event known as Elimination Chamber, is now in the record books. Admittedly, I was unaware of there being a match on the kick-off show, Rey Mysterio defeated the Miz, Rey went on to celebrate with his son Dominik in the ring, let's rundown the main card with thoughts included.

Elimination Chamber started off with the Universal Championship on the line, Roman's and Goldberg's entrances had a WrestleMania like feel to them, the challenger seemed gassed early on, he tried his usual of surprising his opponent by hitting spears from out of nowhere, shoutout to Randy Orton. Roman won by putting Goldberg in the submission hold, to wrap up a quick six minute match, what's next for The Hall of Famer? we shall see, whereas Reigns moves on to WrestleMania in six weeks time. Acknowledge Him!

The Women's Elimination Chamber match was fantastic, big respect to the six participants involved, the crowd were invested throughout, everyone bought their a-game here, Rhea Ripley was outstanding, she looks like she is rediscovering her level of class from her NXT days, the EST of the WWE Bianca Belair won the Chamber, lastly eliminating Alexa Bliss.

Ronda Rousey and Naomi won their respective tag team match, against Charlotte and Sonya Deville, even though Ronda had to wrestle with one arm tied behind her back, everyone will move on to their respective feuds. Drew McIntyre defeated Madcap Moss to move on to Corbin, the Falls Count Anywhere Match wasn't anything special, respectfully.

Becky successfully defended her RAW Women's Championship against Lita, the match itself was nice, however, the finish was a little weak, the Manhandle slam lacked a little impact, the stage is now set for Becky vs. Bianca at 'Mania, hopefully this was not the last we saw of Lita in the ring, she received a great ovation after the contest.

The Usos vs. Viking Raiders ended in a no contest, as Jimmy and Jey attacked Erik and Ivar before the match even happened, now it was time for the main event, the Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship, Bobby Lashley was taken out during the match unexpectedly with an injury, which meant there was going to be a new champion crowned, when Brock Lesnar entered, he pinned everyone one by one, going on to become the NEW WWE Champion in easy fashion, it was like playing a WWE game on easy mode, it has to be said, Brock chasing Austin Theory and hitting the F5 on him, from the roof of the pod, all the way to the Chamber floor, was a great visual in what was a otherwise disappointing match, yet a very good show overall

As mentioned earlier, WrestleMania is six weeks away, stay tuned for more content as the journey on the road to the Grandest Stage of Them All continues.
