It certainly was an interesting first night of the draft, as you can see by the results, AJ Styles moving to RAW is a phenomenal loss to the blue brand but a great gain for the red, Naomi needed a fresh start because she wasn't really doing much, so switching shows may be a good thing for her, if I was in creative, I would instantly make her a challenger for the RAW Women's Championship. I'll be honest with you when I say, when Seth Rollins was drafted to SmackDown, I was happy about that because to me, that meant the storyline with Rey & Dominik was finally over, but no, Rey & Dominik were later drafted to the same show was the "Messiah" I should've seen that happening.

Speaking of feuds continiung, Miz and Morrison were drafted to RAW to continue their story with Mandy Rose, I predict Otis will make a "surprise" appearance on RAW during the build up to Survivor Series. Bianca Belair drafted to SmackDown means that the RAW Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits will be drafted to the same show as her on Monday (spoiler alert) Having said all of this, the biggest story of the night was, without a doubt, The New Day's Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods defeating Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Big E joined in with the celebrations, however, their celebrations were short lived as Kofi and Xavier were drafted to RAW and Big E to SmackDown. They will have thier "farewell" match on Friday, is this REALLY the end of the New Day? or is there a plot twist? If this is the end of the team, then Kofi has a ready made feud with Mustafa Ali after Ali tweeted "Hello. Kofi" remember that Ali suffered an unfortunate injury prior to the 2019 Elimination Chamber and Kofi was his replacement, we all know what happened from there. Looking forward to seeing what happens on Night Two of the draft. I'll be back on Tuesday with the reaction. Thanks for reading.
